Rocker Boys Skin Tut!

Good morning and a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all..Today I am sharing how I color my skin on KRAFT paper!! This tutorial is done with an Image from C.C DESIGNS and it is one of the ROCKER BOYS..I love these little dudes!! The pencils are Prisma colors and I blended with Gamsol which is also known as Odorless Mineral Spirit you can find it at local craft stores. If you have any question feel free to leave them in comment along with a way I can contact you and I will get back to ya!!

Prisma Pencils
Dark Brown
Chocolate
Burnt Ochre
Peach
Light Peach
White

this is also the order I apply them

Apply thin light layer of Dark Brown to Shadow areas.. Pressure light

Dark Brown is down now add Chocolate hitting edge of Dark Brown. Extend your shadow lines slightly

Burnt Ochre next picking up edge of Chocolate..

Taking Peach do the same as above hitting edge of Burnt Ochre keep pressure light

Light Peach now so all colors have been applied

All colors are applied now blend out with Gamsol and paper stump..this will make it look very light now to much pressure when blending out as this removes color. If you want it dark repeat all steps mentioned above..

Build a Snowman!

Kerri here with you today and I created this card using Build a Snowman.  I colored this adorable Image with Copic Markers added some Snow Tex on the tress.. I also used Quad Collage Die and some Sequins!! This Stamp set has a ton of neat things to build a Snowman or Snowgirl..There are trees a little bird just a whole bunch of fun!!

Planner Page!!! C.C Designs

Hey there I hope everyone is having a great day!! Today I am sharing a planner page I made using Images from one of C.C Designs new release..CHRISTMAS TIME I love this set it has some many Images it is insane.. Also you can get the matching OUTLINE DIES fancy right.  I stamped these cuties onto card stock cut them out with matching dies.  I put the cut out aside and started on the Background the dots are from the DOT STENCIL and Oxide Inks.  Left over pattern paper to make the fishtails along with some washi tape and some enamel dots.  These Stamps are perfect for making your cards as well as your planners head over to the store and have a lookie!! Well here is Mr. Raccoon he is from the new set called POLAR PALS.  I stamped him with Wicked Black ink onto Kraft card stock and colored him up with Prisma Pencils!! I also used the BEAUTIFUL BURLAP STENCIL along with Sugar Paste for the background.  I put some snow as well as Nuvo Dops and the odd sequins for embellishments.. Now a little info about my creation! I used the Krafty Love Image stamped it with Wicked Black Ink which I love, Yep Kraftin Kimmie Hybrid Ink that can be used with all mediums. Coloring was done with my trusted Prisma Pencils.  Nuvo Drops added love these babies as well.. Put all of those things together and BOOM a card is ready!

Hey there just a little info my card I stamped it using the Wicked Black ink onto white card stock.  I colored the Image using Prisma Pencils and the background I did with the SNOWFLAKE STENCIL and the Bo Bunny Sugar Paste!! I stamped the Image with Kraftin Kimmie Wicked Black onto Neenah card stock.. Image was colored with Copic Markers and shading done with Prisma Pencils.  The snowflakes come from and set that you will get to see soon called Perky Penguins ink used is the new BUBBLY BLUE. Day 1 of C.C Designs Previews!!!

Hello Hello to all of my Krafty Friends!!! Today is Day 1 of the C.C Designs upcoming release..exciting or what!! The November release is crazy AWESOME!! As you can see above I have created this card using the Stamp set called SANTA and FRIENDS I love these cute little Reindeer's and of course where would we be without our helper ELVES.  The Die I used on this card is the TRIO COLLAGE.  this Die is crazy handy I have used it on so many cards worth every penny!  Now remember take a look at the other DT members to see what they are show casing super exciting!!!! Hello to all Kerri here today and I am sharing this card I made with these adorable MONSTERS!!! I love these little guys.  I colored these MONSTERS with Prisma Pencils stamped first onto white card-stock with Memento Tuxedo Black.  I cut the MONSTERS out with the Monster Outline Dies and my other cuts made with Trio Collage.  The Dotted Background was created with Texture Paste tinted with Distress Re-Inkers and the DOT STENCIL.

Tutorial Tuesday!!

Distress Inks Used

Body – Antique Linen, Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, Aged Mahogany

Beck – Carved Pumpkin, Rusty Hinge

Gizzard – Fire Brick Red, Aged Mahogany

Legs – Black Soot

Instructions

Apply a thine line of Antique Linen along outer edge of Turkey. (head, body, and wing and tail just the one side)

Rinse Brush and blend out toward center of Turkey.  Let dry.  If you want you can repeat these two steps if you want it darker. I only did it once

 Using Fossilized Amber apply thin   line along the same side you did the Antique Linen on.

Rinse brush and blend out toward the center again. You can rinse brush again if the color is staying too strong.

If you look at pic below I also did around the beak.  Make sure to do the tail as well.

This is what it should loo like all blended out so far.

Wild Honey will be now applied the same way as above.  Let DryThis is what it looks like with the Wild Honey blended out! 

  Aged Mahogany is now applied. Once again, a VERY thin line to deepen the shading around CHEEKS, TAIL FEATHERS. Rinse brush blend out you may need to rinse brush twice.

Aged Mahogany applied to all of the areas and blended out

Carved Pumpkin is next up.  Apply thin line on the Beck look at photo. Rinse brush out and blend out to center of beck.

 Rusty Hinge is now applied the same as above and blended out the same way.  

 Gizzard time using FIRE BRICK RED apply thin line as per picture.  Rinse brush and blend out!

Almost done apply thin line of AGED MAHOGANY to outer edge of GIZZARD rinse brush out and blend out. Now the Final step is to fill in legs. Legs not done here but this is what you finished Turkey should look like with black legs.

Hello Hello today is RELEASE DAY for C.C DESIGNS..This release is awesome so many wonderful Stamp Sets.  Turkeys, Squirrels and Monsters... The matching Dies as well as the Trio Collage which I love!! Oh wait lets not forget the Dot Stencil!! So this card I used the set called Nuts along with the Outline Dies I used the Die set called Trio Collage and I used the Dot Stencil.. Cuteness overload right!!

Day 3 Previews for C.C Designs

Hello Hello today is Day 3 of the SNEAK PEEKS for the upcoming New Release over at C.C DESIGNS.  Ok is this cuteness overload or what look at that super cute TURKEY.  These images are from the new Stamp Set called THANKS it has four different TURKEYS, the PUMPKIN, PIE, LITTLE FACES, HATS and multiple sentiments. AWESOMENESS right..I love this set I love coloring those cute TURKEYS!!!
