Five Days Till Christmas!!

This morning sitting at the table with my daughter she simply stated five days till Christmas..All of the sudden I realized that I still need to do five cards..how did this happen where did the time go...So I guess I will be hibernating in my craft room for a bit...Today is Cute Card Thursday and I am fortunate enough to be the Guest Designer for the month of December, and also for the month of January..the DT team here is very talented...The theme this week is Eat, Drink & Be Merry..It is sponsored by Whimsy Stamps so your project must follow the theme..This week I did tags and I used a Digi image or a couple from Teddy Bo...I made Hot Chocolate Cones put them in a mug along with a Chocolate Bar sealed them up and placed the tag on them...These I used for teachers gifts, I enjoyed making these tags so I made 17 of them...So I hope all of you have a great day and if you have time at this busy time please join us...http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.ca

Santa I Can Explain...

Yep it has been awhile since I have posted...let's just say I am totally busy..This season is crazy with cards, tags, baking, shopping, and then everything else that you do daily.. Today I am going to show you a card that someone ordered from me...The image is from Stampingbella it is called The Big Guy Golfing...I tried to make it a Christmas theme...I coloured it with my Copics and shaded with Prisma Pencils..The shirt, hat and socks are paper pieced..Well it has to be short due to the fact that my youngest daughter has to go to Cadets..take care, be safe and always make time to create...love to all

Good morning to all of you wonderful crafters...I am in the crafting mood today so I thought that I would post..I am in love with zombies, well I do not think it is the Zombies as much as the freedom these images give you with regards to colour...Not too sure if you know about the kids show Monster High well I love it and I love the characters..I think this is what inspired this card along with a mother who told me her daughter was obsessed with the show...If you have a chance take a peek love it!! Good morning to all of my fellow crafters...I am reading this book called the Secret and let me tell you something the lesson it is teaching is definitely working..The idea of this book is that the world works on the Law of Attraction, so in short what you think wether positive or negative you will attract that kind of energy into your life...It has been a week and I am in the process of changing my though patterns man oh man...who would have thought that thinking about your thoughts would be so hard.  It also made me realize that the most amazing gift I have is my family with all of their quirks..It is those quirks that define them as a person and lord knows I love each and everyone one of them more than words...So if you are going threw a rough patch then get this book I can honestly say it works...It is a far stretch from my Vampire books...Now I said I have some news..OK 1 SECONDS I AM DOING MY HAPPY SHUFFLE!!!!!!!!! Ok sitting down again one of my resolutions was to get onto a design team this year..I DID IT!!!!(jumping up and down) I was asked to be a GD for Cute Card Thursday and I got a badge to prove it!!! (jumping up and down!!!) Now they asked if I would do this...well what do you think I said YES YES YES!!! (jumping up and down!!! no more jumping going to take a heart a tack..)  So I will be doing this for the month of december..I am still in shock that someone would think my cards are good enough to do this...Ok enough rambling..One more thing I would like to thank all of you for your positive feed back and support it is that, that keeps me colouring...Ok new card the image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto white card stock..Image is an Uptown Girl from Stampingbella..Image name is Isabella loves her Icecream...A girl after my own heart..I coloured her with Copics and Shaded her with Prisma Pencils blended with Gamsol...added some glitter dust and boom this is what I came up with..hope you like and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! be safe, be happy and hug someone let them know they count and I promise that smile will brighten your day..MWAH!!

Zombie Birthday Card!!

Good Saturday to all!! Well it is the weekend before Halloween and I thought that I would colour up this card for my niece's birthday!! Judging by the title the image is yes a Zombie girl..This is a digi from the talented Krista Smith who if you have followed my blog pretty much over powers the others..I have to say this is one of my favourite card I love the colours and I love the little spiders..Paper spiders I can handle the live ones well I HATE HATE HATE them!!!!!Hope you like the card and a huge thks to all that stop by and view my work..With time I am hoping to hon my skills..Have a great weekend and Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Dinosaur!!

Happy Birthday!

Here is a card I did, my first Dinosaur..I am trying to colour more with my copic and not shade with my Pencils but I just can't.  I am like a junkie I need that extra umph!! This is a digi image and I am not too sure where I got it but he is just the cutest...My new room is great and I am making some christmas card..I just received my Copic Colouring Guide from One Crazy Stamper..I read it last night in bed it has a lot of info...The nice thing is the book comes with a disk of the images used so you can practice..Well I have to write off my youngest is heading out the door and we still have to walk our dogs..Have a great day and create something!!!..

This is a card I did for a baby shower for this past weekend....I did one with Copics and this one is done with pencils..This is a Krista Smith Image called Butterfly Baby I bought this from her digi shop...If you go on her web site their is a story to go along with this image.  When you purchase this image she donates money to this charity...Crafting and helping does not get much better than that..so I hope you like my card..take care and have a great day.. Good Afternoon!!! Exciting news no I never made it on a team yet...do not think it is in the cards but I will not stop trying...Ok Ok here it is my new craft room is almost done the red paint has went on..Yepper doodles I said RED!! I also have a neutral colour as well..I have beautiful dark flooring going in..I can barely stay in my seat...Today for you I have a card made with a set of stamps I bought a while back..I am not sure where you can even buy these now..I bet though if I were to ask Lora over at One Crazy Stamper she could find'em she finds everything!! Thanksgiving!!!

Good afternoon this is the famous weekend for Turkey, Stuffing, Turnips, Potatoes, Cranberry Sauce and lets not forget PUMPKIN PIE!!! I love my Mom's Pie it is the best...Today I also sent in my submission for a DT call for One Crazy Stamper...I crossed every digit I have and I would be over the moon to get picked but as my mom says we win some and we lose some...The submission asked to choose one of your best works well now come on...I could not decode so I asked the girls and my hubby and they narrowed it down to three..so I sent three...I also have a card to share with you today I. The image is one from Lili Of The Valley and I just love these two little ones...Yes if you are wondering I have seen their New Release and did order those gals...Well I have decided that I am going to learn how to colour with the Distress Inks and am going to One Crazy Stamper to take a class..November 18th to Toronto I go and this time my daughter Carrington is going to come with me...These gal over at this store are great I just love them.. My card is coloured with copics and then shaded with Prisma Pencils...Hope you like and have a great Thanksgiving.. Monday Morning!

Good morning to all of my fellow crafters!!  Well this weekend I went to a class and had some much fun that the four and a half hours seemed like five minutes...I had the pleasure of meeting many awesome ladies and at the same time create two cards.  The cards that I was taught to do have 3d trees and a hedgehog on one...Now for those of you who do not know this gal you need to take a class over at One Crazy Stamper...The crafter that I am speaking of is Christine Dol very nice and very talented..Also for all of you crafters if you have not been to Lora's store One Crazy Stamper it is a must..lots of goodies and great prices..I am now going to show you a pic of my cards and of some of the goodies I bought..thks for stopping by and have a great week.. Back Again!!

Life as We Know It...

Good morning to all of my fellow Krafters...Sorry I have been so sporadic with my posting but life has been hectic..  The house is under renos and my dogs are driving me over then bend...Kids are in full swing of school and most morning the house is well on its way by 5:30am yep no typo...I have also been asked to do a guest book for a wedding and man oh man it has been sometime since I have done some pages..I have six done and need ten it has been fun and I did not realize how much I missed scrapping..Now that is not to say that I will do a ton because my passion is to colour and stamp...This Tuesday I had the pleasure and I do mean pleasure of meeting Lora who is the owner of a store that sells many goodies for scrapping booking as well as card making.. Lets just say that I did not leave empty handed, Oh Yeah the name of the store is One Crazy Stamper!!! FYI it is also an online store the prices are great!!!!! Today I have one of the pages to show you I hope you like it and thks for taking the time to stop by my blog and I would also like to say thks to those who take the time to leave me a message...

Good Morning!! Well this is week two of early mornings..My oldest daughter has started high school and her bus picks her up at 6:10 am.. So that means we are up at 4:30 am..Boy can u get alot done when you are up this early..As promised I have a card to show all of you wonderful peeps!! NO COLOURING!!!! Yep that is what I typed NO COLOURING!!! I used some of my Tim Holtz stamps as well as some of my Distress Inks the outcome was great I am very happy with it..I am presently working on a Guest book for a wedding so I will post some of those pics as I go along..thks for stopping by and I love all of the comments that you all leave and I try to get back to all of ya..So take care be safe and keep on crafting!!!

It Has Bee Awhile!!

Good morning to all of you wonderful peeps...Yes I have returned from my journey.  The house is under construction converting rooms renos to the bathroom, kids back to school need I say more..My oldest daughter has started high school and the early hours are a tad rough but this is the first week. this is short and sweet I will have some cards this week end I even did a card that has no coloring and I also ventured into the coloring with distress inks so stay tuned and let me know what u think!!

July 24th, Oh My!!

Love You Always!!

Can someone please tell me why the days are going so fast?  I cannot believe that this month is already over...Next week I am leaving for three weeks to go and visit my parents and then we are driving back because they are moving home with us.  I am excited to have them coming home I am sure there will be some adjustments but at least they will be close.  Todays card is an Anniversary card I made for a friend for his wife..I used a Lili of the Valley Stamp.  These stamps are amazing I just love them...I colored it with Copics as well as shaded the with Prisma Pencils blended with Gamsol...I am going to enter this in  the Lili of the Valley Challenge..I think it is Romance...I have started a new lifestyle as well which includes dropping 50lbs ( oh how I wish it would just drop off..lol) eating more veggies and increasing my activity level...So far so good I am feeling great and have lost about three pounds.Little steps right that is what I keep telling myself..So without further ado here is my card..and thks for stopping by..MWAH!!

My Babies Birthday!!!

Today twelve years ago I was blessed with my second daughter Kenzington...This was the third greatest day of my life..She brings us a ton of love, laughs, life and she is one of my inspirations...Tonight for her birthday she wanted to have Pizza Hut Pizza and a Movie at home.. so Dad is picking up the Pizza and the movie we are watching Mirror Mirror..it is one of her favs..Last night we watched Glee The Concert Movie..Awesome!!!!Tomorrow is my nieces birthday Tiffany!! This card that I am posting is for her..I used a Krista Smith image big surprise..lol It seems that they are taking over my blog. As you can guess today is Friday..YIPPEE!!!! I love the weekends this is a time when all of my Family can be together.  My husband works alot of overtime so they we can have a few extras so we donot get to eat many meals with him...During the week he leaves at 4am gets back at about 8pm...Now my girls are also in baseball so we are on the road alot of the time...Now you know why I love the weekends...I have made a card this is a Mother's day card..

Hippie Love!!

Good evening!! Who says that your title has to be correct..Well it has been a bit since I posted a card..Well I have been coloring but no time to post...I had the wonderful experience of going to a Tim Horton's Camp on a school trip.  Man oh Man what an amazing experience...Lets just say the lessons learned are well worth buying an extra coffee each day to help support these amazing camps...Now I have to tell you ladies a story...I have a friend who lost her husband nine months ago to a tragic car accident to then make progress to be knocked down by a legal matter...just when the water started to settle she calls me to tell me she has found a lump in her breast...Lets just say when I get off the phone I walk out of my craft room go upstairs get my coat get in my card and I drive thinking to myself..(sorry if I offend anyone I do not mean to) are you f*&king kidding me...I pull over on the side of the road I look up into the sky and say what are you doing do you not believe on giving someone a chance..,Well nothing happened except that it started to rain...So on Monday she had a breast removed...Today I go out to see her and before I leave she asks me if I can give her a hand washing before her nurse comes..Yes I def can do this for her...Then we proceed to wash her hair and she tells me that is the best she has felt in a while as we turn to the mirror so she can dry her hair I am chatting away I look up to see a tear roll down her cheek... I lift my head and she looks at me and says how does this work Kerri...Now usually I am not at a lost for words but being unsure what to say..I say  Well you won't fall over or tip sideways...now this is one of those times as it is coming out I am think oh man is that what you just said...My friend looked at me and bursted into laughter she laughed so hard I had to get her a pillow...When we were all done and she was dressed and I was heading out she told me one of the reasons that she loves me so much is my outlook on life...I guess what I am trying to say is who is to say what is right and what is wrong.. I think that if we live our life treating one another the way we want to be treated life will be great..Sometimes the wrong thing just might be the right thing... I want to take my hat off to all of those who are survivors of cancer and to those who stand by the loves they love and support them...Courage, I think is something that we have to learn and relearn all of our lives...Ok done rambling....Yes I do have a card it is a Krista Smith Hippie Love this is one of my favs and I made this one for a special little girl who is turning six on Friday...love to all stay strong, safe and happy

Ok Kraft Image..

Well here is my first image done on Kraft cardstock.. This image was coloured completely done with Primsa Pencils and a small amount of Gamsol..A big thank you to Mary J for the tutorial it was great..SO THANKYOU!! The image is a Krista Smith..Her name is Smashy Bob..She also just had a big release of digs...JUST SAYING!!   I put this coloured image into my Smash Book my first page..Hope you enjoy it and thks for stopping by...MWAH

Saturday March17th..2012

Oh Man!!! Where has the time went..most of my March break I spent sick with a horrible chest and head cold...What fun is that for the girls..Well I was able to take them to see John Carter oh boy what a show..AWESOME AWESOME!!!  I think every person in that show must have had to go to the gym everyday for about eight hours..lol   So the card I am about to show you is a Kenny K image and I think her name is Digi Download Girl...My daughter chose this for a birthday party she is going to for her friend Molly..Kenzington and Molly have spent the last few days arranging what they were going to do with their time...Needless to say this am when I brought her over to Molly's she had packed her room..Before I show you my card I also had the pleasure of taking my oldest daughter to register for High school..Well nobody prepared me for how emotional I was going to be..I cried like a baby...This is my baby Carrington I can still remember bringing her home from the hospital...My husband told me that it was just another stepping stone, one I was not ready for I guess..Well enough of the sappy stuff I hope you lie my card and I am going to enter it in Cute Card Thursday Birthday Challenge..thks for stopping by..http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.ca/..also going to enter One Crazy Stamper March challenge..http://onecrazystampercom.blogspot.ca

Wednesday Birthday Card!!

Good morning to all.  Well today is Wednesday and my Hubby is driving me crazy with the banging.  You guessed it we are renovating.  A Bathroom the main one we have all of the material but nothing goes as planned..The tub was late but received yesterday and the drywall was no good, and after we ripped it down we found that the contractor did not insulate the wall...The contractor who built this house was horrible he def sucks in the world of Builder and Mike Holmes would kick his but...lol.Well lets move on to happier thoughts a card you say?  Yes of course I have one..The image is one from our talented friend Krista Smith and her title is Party Hardy and this I will do when the bath is done..I am going to enter it in Challenge # 12 which has to do with doilies and yep there is one very small..Image was coloured with copies as well as pencils..http://saturatedcanarychallenge.blogspot.com/...also going to enterhttp://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/

Ok this is going to be a short post due to the fact that it is late and my play list on iTunes is on its third run..This card stumped me for a bit..I have paper across my entire craft room..Now I have a large room..Oh crapjust one second my Pug is eating some..CRAP!!  Ok back now man oh man good thing he is cute..This card is for my dog groomer she is a last minute kind of gal and called yesterday about this card..Here is what she said I need a Baby card..I say Ok not a problem when do you need it for..her reply friday!!! Here the thing..no pink , no blue and green is not that great...Well needless to say I got off of the phone and started..Then the phone rings for those of you who follow me my daughter and I write the sayings for in the cards she then request something special..I say nicely anything else you want ta pile on..lol I love this gal she is great..Well here is what I came up with I hope you like..This card reminds me that the only limitations we have are those that we place upon ourselves..always be creative, love like no tomorrow, show empathy and let those you love know it..thks for stopping by and have a great weekend...

Hello!! Boy CArd!!

Birthday Crad!!

Ok a few things on the list to talk about....One my trip to TO, two my new stamps and third my card...TO trip was great I was very nervous to go I had to see a doctor about some results and lets just say they were negative..I have a cartilage disorder that is easy to manage..The treatment consists of mild medication and rest when needed...YEAH YEAH!!!!! I did not realize how much this was getting to me I was so sick driving to TO I could not eat or drink.  Well lets just say that after I got the good news I went out for supper to the Spaghetti Factory... I ate tons of food and even had a drink of course it was A CONDUCTOR!!! love love them...Enough about that...thks to all of you with your prayers and thoughts they must have worked.. While in To I went to Stampingbella and spent way too much money but you know I live in the boonies so going there is a big treat.. New stamps, lots of soups, and a couple of new paper pads.  Just when I thought that it could not get better I stopped at Woolfitts and stocked up on Prisma Pencils and Copic Refills...So this cover two out of three..Oh YEAH the third is my boy card...I love this little gut he is from Tiddly Inks and he is Boy Genius...he has got to be one of the cutest fellas I know..Hope you like the card and thks again for stopping by and also thks to those who not only stop but also leave me some luv..MWAH!!

Finally A Card!!

Sorry I have been busy and my hands are not letting do to much colouring..This makes me sad but if I can still colour a bit that is good...I did this card today and I think it is one of my fans Paula Willamson inspired it just plain and simple...I would list all of the copies I used but I think that there is 20 or so and about four pencils for shading..I am trying to learn how to do hair without my pencils but it is hard I love the look..You have to love kids my girls go to a Catholic school not for religious reasons but because of the french immersion program..Now do not get me wrong we believe in god but I guess you could say I slack in practicing my faith...Anyway my one daughter thought that I should give up my colouring for lent...I looked at her and said really are you serious..ya come on Mom!!  WHAT WAS SHE THINKING? Here it is I said why would I do that her response is well I know you would not last two days and then I could get my dessert back..What a schemer..Well that is my Kenzi that girl has an outlook that soars..So I guess she was my inspiration as well...The image on my card is a Krista Smith this gal is crazy talented...so thks to her and a big thks to all you gals that leave me some of your love I think that is what gets me to colour when my hands are sore..Here is Party Hardy done my way..MWAH!!!
